MORE SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN PURI & KOLKATA

With a view to provide comfort to the commuters and also to clear the huge waitlist of passengers during Durga Puja period, Railways have taken steps to run three more special trains between Puri and Santragachhi (Kolkata).

08009 Santragachhi-Puri Special train will leave Santragachhi at 1900 hrs o­n 10^thOctober 2013 (Thursday) and will arrive at Puri at 0415hrs o­n Friday. In the return direction, 08010 Puri-Santragachhi Special train will leave Puri at 1820 hrs o­n 11^thOctober 2013 (Satarday) and will arrive at Santragachhi at 0310 hrs o­n Saturday.

The second pair special train 08011 Santragachhi-Puri Special train will leave Santragachhi at 0830 hrs o­n 13^th October 2013 (Sunday) and will arrive at Puri at 1710hrs o­n the same day. In the return direction, 08012 Puri-Santragachhi Special train will leave Puri at 2300 hrs o­n 13^th October 2013 (Sunday) and will arrive at Santragachhi at 0805 hrs o­n the next day.

The third pair special train 08013 Santragachhi-Puri Special train will leave Santragachhi at 1900 hrs o­n 17^th October 2013 (Thursday) and will arrive at Puri at 0415hrs o­n Friday. In the return direction, 08014 Puri-Santragachhi Special train will leave Puri at 0530hrs o­n 18^th October 2013 (Friday) and will arrive at Santragachhi at 1430hrs o­n the same day.

These trains have Two AC-3 tiers, 08 Sleeper Classes, 04 General Second Class and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur between Puri and Santragachhi.
