| Inauguration of Urology Unit at Railway Central Hospital |
Mrs. Ratna Ghosh, President, East Coast Railway Women Welfare Organisation inaugurated the Urology Unit of Central Hospital. This unit comprises of the advanced Endo-Urology equipment of Olympus/Japan and will be utilised for diagnosis and treatment of Urological patients like stones, tumor and other problems in lower urinary tract. This is the first Urology unit of East Coast Railway. The equipment have been procured at a cost of Rs. 35 lakh and on the same day one Urological procedure (Check Cystocopy) was done on a RELHS employee of ECoR named ASJ Narayan, Male-74 years, who was earlier operated for bladder tumor.
